Bignor Roman Villa is a fascinating place, with much to see. Guides are on-hand to explain all aspects of the site, and the mosaics and remains of the heating system are a wonder to see. To think that all this hidden history was unearthed by accident by a local farmer in the 1800's, is amazing, and echoes the story at Fishbourne. What else lies hidden beneath the unexcavated green hills of Sussex. I am quite sure that nearby Pulborough Church would prove fruitful, archaelogically speaking, as several artefacts of the Roman period have been found in the churchyard of this interesting site.
