I went to Sofias as it is originally called on Saturday evening with my friends for our Christmas meal. The starter of garlic mushrooms was fantastic as usual but where can you go wrong with them. The main meals were absolutely awful. My friend had the Pollo Alla Creme which she said was like rice pudding, not very nice indeed. I had the Pollo Alla Venezia which was ok but they put sweetcorn in the rice which I sent back as I have an allergy to it and asked for some plain rice. They brought me back my original rice and said that they didnt have any plain rice and just left it with me. The lady who served us was not very nice at all, she looked miserable and never smiled, the normal waiters and waitresses were much nicer. The garlic bread was lovely but again where can you go wrong with it. On leaving the establishment one of my other friends had already become ill and had to rush to the bathroom and then after 10 minutes I also started with stomach pains. There were 3 of us that were not well at all. Also, they put the tip on the bill for you at 10%, I mean how rude. We didnt leave a tip at all and the lady on the main desk gave us evil looks as we left. I would not recommend Sofias to anyone anymore, it used to be really nice but now it is just plain disgusting.
