having not been to the king arthur for a number of years i was not expecting much as we were just passing through, but was very pleasently surprised at how it changed, having spoken to the polite young lady behind the bar i was informed the pub was under new management and alot of changes had been made noteably the extensive menu and the number of draught pints for under £2!!( i noted a total of 7) we werent planning on having any food we only popped in for a pint but noticed a beer and burger deal so we thought we'll give it a try. our burgers arrived within 10 minutes and were accompanied with chips and mixed leaves. the food was good as was the service and i will defenitly be going back for meal with my family. would definetley recommend it.

On the 26th February four of us went for a meal at the King Arthur. My Husband bought four drinks while we looked at the menu which cost £10. They went to the bar to order their food and were told by the barmaid they could not use creditcard. They started ordering and were told there were only 16 oz steaks as they had nothing to cut them with. We cancelled the order and walked out. The barmaid was unhelpful and £10 was wasted on drinks which we would never of had. There was no notice on the door about creditcards etc. The four of us had a very nice meal hust down the road at The Pie Factory Tipton.

Dear sir/madam my husband&I and four of our friends came to the King Arthur for a meal the, service was apalling to say the least. The tables were left for ages with dirty plates etc,but we waited for ages for someone to come along with a bottle of anti-bacterial spray to clean and wipe the table. When the person did come, she had in her hand a filthy cloth no spray wipe and most likely put more germs back on the table than what was wiped off!!I know what its like to be short staffed in catering but you need to look into this asp before people stop going there which would be sad.
