No complaints from us! We have dined at Caprichos on three occasions and found this restaurant offers excellent food at very reasonable prices. The 2 course lunch menu for £6 per person is extremely good value and is also offered on Saturday and Sunday until late afternoon. The tapas evening menu offer for £10.50 per person is recommended. The wine/drinks choice is good and the staff will happily serve tap water if you ask for it. We shared a chocolate fondue for desert and needless to say, it was delicious. The decor is modern contemporary, black, red, with mirrors and even the floor design is quite classy. Give Caprichos a try.

My wife and i have in the past been regular patrons of Caprichios on many ocasions. Since its refurbishment we have visited twice. Last night we vistited them for a sunday eveing meal to wind up our week with another couple, also patrons, all looking forward to a nice relaxing meal. We were dissapointed. Having been seated quickly we were left waiting for menu`s & drink orders for five minutes. Once the menu`s arrived we placed our orders some 10 mins after. We were then left waiting for our food for over an hour and a half !. Despite asking the staff three times we were still left in the dark while other people arrived, ordered, ate, paid & departed. There was no explanationa as to why we were left waiting and no real apology either. We were however assured of complimentary drinks after the meal, which never came and then told one of our bottles of wine would be removed from the bill. When the bill came however the wine was still on it, we had to remind the waiter of what he had said. The food however was excelent, well cooked & presented, very nice indeed although when my steak arrived it was minus the source which had been so well recomnded by the waiter. All in the whole experience in terms of service and customer attention was very very poor, a real shame and i doubt as a result if any of us will return again, a real fall from grace and i have to say as an avid & experienced restaraunt goer, one of the worst levels of service i have ever had. Excellent tapas restaurant with very friendly and efficient staff. Just undergone an interior re-design giving it a fresh and airy feeling. Get there early and bag an outside table if the weather is fine. Only complaint is there are too many dishes to tempt and we always order one more than we need. Basic menu has plenty of choice for everyone and the specials are always worth a try.
