The meal I had here was aweful, probably the worst I have ever had. I ordered a serloin steak medium with a stilton sauce on a salad bed and when it came out it did not resemble beef I think it was pork. I showed the waitress when she took it back and a new steak (definitely beef this time)was brought back it was just thrown onto the salad that the old steak was on, it was blue, hardly cooked and there was no stilton sauce on it. Then I complianed again and it was taken away and some stilton sauce was thrown on it but it was still not cooked. By this point I didn't fancy it at all. We were left waiting for ages and the whole process took about 2 hours and we left pretty annoyed and we didnt have time for desert which was included in the set menu. I would not normally write a review but I was so annoyed and I have heard so many other bad reports I felt compelled to write. Apparently try the Lichfield Pastiche as its not bad but steer well clear of the Tamworth restaurant - you have been warned!!
