Having dined here today for the fourth time, we have found Thrales to be consistently excellent not only in the food served but also in their service, which is attentive, friendly and a very pleasant change to some of the other supposedly good restaurants in this area! We took our 11 month old baby with us today hesitantly as some people can be offput by a baby in such a nice eating establishment, but the staff culd not have been more welcoming and helpful, giving us a lovely little alcove table where we had lots of room for our pushchair, a highchair and all the other paraphanelia that goes with a little one! And this immediately put us all at ease as we could also relax knowing that if he was a little noisy it wouldn't upset any other diners!! Thankfully he ate his dinner quietly and went to sleep which was even better news!! I can't rememebr the last time I was tempted into eating 3 course but today I couldn't resist the mouth watering selection of starters and desserts aswell as my main course; and the raspberry bellini's are so delicious that I ended up drinking 3.... but it is Valentines' Day so I figured that was a good enough excuse!!!
