I would be careful here. "Yummy Thai Restaurant of Wantage, Oxfordshire, has been given a Food Hygiene Rating of 0 stars by Vale of White Horse District Council on 22nd March 2011" copied from scores on the door" website. Food Hygiene Rating (details)= ZERO Hygiene and Safety (details)= BAD Structural (details)= BAD Confidence in Management (details)=LITTLE I won't eat there

Having just eaten once again at the Yummy Thai in Wantage, I can honestly say that their food and service is first class. The review below this should be dismissed. I know this chap and if he think's he is only 9 1/2 stone, he's not only super sensitive but he is also in super denial. He's a reflective anorexic - everytime he looks in the mirror he think's he looks fat. Well fatty, you are. Get a life and focus on more important things in life than yourself and what others say in jest. Thumbs up to Yummy, great food, great sense of humour. Peace.

After visiting the yummy thai on many occasions over the past year we have come to know the people running the resturant. However after having a meal with my daughter this evening I was told I had got fat and had been eating too much. I am disgusted that any one of any race can think that, that is exceptable to say to another human being. And just to point out I am a personal trainer Im 5'6 and 9 1/2 stone. Whom of which will NEVER be going to that place again.

I did not have a meal at the restaurant but when i was sitting down on the sofa waiting for the takeaway i noticed how polite the waitresses were. Also i could smell and see the delicious food they were carrying to the pleased customers. When i got the meal I opened the strong bag and looked inside. I couldn't see inside but te smell was wonderful

When it was my brothers birthday i asked him if he would come over to mine and have some dinner. he told me that he wanted a take away while watching tv. Wewalked around the town and we saw Yummy Thai. We chose that would be a good idea if we went inside. We ordered rice with green curry, Pud Thai and some starters. When we got home i opened the bag and smell rose into my nose. Lovely. We poured the green curry into the rice. He started eating it. His eyes dazzled for a moment and started explaining how nice it was. The hot steaming rice was soft and the rich runny green curry sauce. The starters had cling film on it. I guess it was too keep the food nice and crispy. we had a really good time and we would surely come back here again.

Although I did not have a meal in the restaurant, my family and I settled down to have a thai takeaway. When we picked it up and brought it home the first thing I noticed was how badly packaged it was. I had ordered a green vegetable curry. It arrived in the plastic box it had been frozen and microwaved in. Disgusting. The others were sloppily wrapped in cling film and chucked into a dirty looking box.Pouring it onto the sticky block of an object that was my rice I discovered the runniness of it. It was practically a green coloured water. The taste was the last straw. Horrible. My family and myself were all disgusted by the food and may I add it is a lot more expensive than the delicious Indian takeaway we have not so far from it.

I cannot rate this place enough. I've had Thai food all over the world, including in Thailand. Never have I chanced over such a wonderful menu. The food is superb, the skill to create such outstanding and mouthwatering flavours is beyond me. I've visited Yummy's about 10 times since it has opened, everytime I leave I'm already thinking about what I'm going to have on my next visit. The service is excellent, and the staff will guide you through (and off) the menu to tailor a dish to your liking. This place has knocked my previous favourite Thai into second place (Tonya's in Bargemon, Var - Provence/Cote D Azur).
