Expected a nice bustly restaurant in the heart of the busy bit of Bideford, but it was grey dour and a little bit sad.
The staff were nice, but they obviosly didn't want to be there!
Food was expensive and plain, which seemed to suit the oldies sitting there complaining!

Living in Leicestershire we often visit Lathwells when visiting my daughter in Bideford.
You are assured of a warm welcome, good food, and reasonable wines sensibly priced.
The staff work hard to make it a place you will want to visit again and again.
