My husband introduced me to Valentino's in 2005 and I am so glad he did. It is the first place we think of when dining out even though we now have to drive for one and a half hours to get there, we still try to go once a week. The quality of service and food is excellent as is the value for money. Andrea and her staff are always welcoming. Well done to them all

I have been going to Valentinos for the last 4 to 5 years. I find the staff warming and helpful, the owner Andrea to be a fantastic host and chef, the Menu to be exciting and full of choice and the restaurant itself to be warming and cosy.
Out of the many many meals i have had here i can honestly say that i havent been dissapointed once. the choice is fantastic and the food always of the highest standard.
I would recommend anyone near or far to visit and see for them selves.

My husband introduced me to Valention's in 2005 and thank goodness he did. The welcome is always warm, the atmosphere always friendly and relaxed and the food superb and the choice varied.You can now, if you so wish, even take your own wine, although the merlot, my particular tipple, on offer is to be as highly recommeded as the food.
When ever we have something to celebrate Valentino's is the first place for a meal we think of. We now live in Peterborough and still try to get once a week, even though it is one and a half hours drive. We will be so sorry when the bad weather comes and won't be able to make it so often. Well done to Andrea and her staff for providing a restaurant of such excellence, Ripley is very lucky to have Valentino's.

just read a review dated june 2011 what can i say myself and my family have been going to valentino,s since it opened around 7 years ago and to be frank have allways found it to be lovely, the atmostphere is always great, the food exelent,always fresh,deserts to die for, and more important not overpriced, Andrea the owner, always comes to have a chat,we like the personal touch,the staff cant do enough for you what more could you want ,

used to visted this place with my partner and was superb but over the last few years weve noticed its gone down hill alot the food doesnt seem to be the same high standed as before and the place seem un clean with a funny smell in the place
shame it used to be great.

myself and two friends visited valentinos just before christmas the meal was fantastic although they were very busy and running two menus the christmas one and the al a carte we had the al a cart my two friends opted for pasta dishes which were huge and came with garlic bread,they said they were fab ,I opted for the medalions of beef which was a fillet steak stuffed with a cheese filling and covered with a tequila sauce. i was offered rice or fries or potatoes and vegetables,i went for the pots and veg all very fresh.although the desserts looked fantastic we were to full.i was also very impressed that although the restaurant was very busy the owner Andrea came round all the tables to chat and check everyone had had a good night.I will most certainly be returning again and so will my friends

This is currently my girlfiend and mine favourite restaurant. We are vegetarian and find that most restaurants are not able to offer quality vegetarian options. Valentino's however never fails to develiver great food at a great price. Would certainly recommend to anyone.

I have had several meals in 2006 at this restaurant with family and friends and have always found the atmosphere, service and especially the food to be exceptional.
I would not hesitate in recomending this restaurant to anyone and will be returning myself very shortly.
