What a lovely position this restaurant has with riverside seating. We were however, extremely disappointed with the food and the service. It took a good fifteen minutes for someone to clear our table outside and ask us if we had finished (they weren't our plates anyway!). Cannot recommend the thai fishcakes, they didn't taste of anything and the coffee was cold. Very disappointing.

What a wonderful place!!! Great service and great food, and as for the thai fishcakes - delicious! What a shame someone with evidently no tastebuds bothered to leave a review!!! Don't be deterred, if you're in Bude The Olive Tree should be your first stop for eating out!!! Well done.

In a great spot located on the river and only a short walk from the beach. We had three fantastic courses of food supplied by very friendly and efficient staff. Wholesome and innovative main courses, locally made deserts with great coffee to finish......looking forward to returning to try more of the menu.

Ate here on a sunny but chilly day. We sat outside as we had our dog with us as well as two small children. Service was speedy and efficient, food was fab. We had chicken satay skewers which were lovely and tender, and the kids shared a large portion of fish goujons which were delicious too. Will definitely be back.

The Olive Tree is a lovely restaurant in a nice location. The last time I went was in winter but on a nice summers day it's great to sit out the front and watch the world go by. The food is consistenly good, you can tell it's homemade and really well priced. Definately worth a go
