Had an absolutely fantastic time here, we had a table for 15 for a hen do but we were never kept waiting long for the food, which was all delicious and piping hot. And they'd decorated the table beautifully for us with balloons and ribbons and poppers, the service was fantastic, a great meal had by all.

Had an awful experience here. I headed to the back of the place while my husband bought the drinks but had my way barred by a waiter and then some portly Italian man who seemed to be the manager came and shouted at me. He ordered me back to the bar to wait. All he had to do was explain but instead he was aggressive and then while we were waiting keep sweeping by with trays deliberately very close to us and calling me 'Madam' sarcastically. Geez, if you hate customers, why would you run a restaurant?? We should have left then but thought it was just him & that the rest of the waiters would be OK. Not so - they didn't take our order for a long time and then took even longer to bring it. We were in a hurry and were made half an hour late for our dinner with friends (elsewhere, needless to say). This used to be a terrific pub, with beautiful views of the river, cheaper drinks and decent people who knew how to serve customers! Won't be going back there.
