Good Points: The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent, and the owner was very friendly. Bad Points: My only complaint was the tv being so high up it made my neck sore. General review: Overall i was happy with this hotel. It was well situated for the town centre and the park, and also not too far from the race track.

Wonderful hospitality from Bruna, nothing was too much trouble for her and she was great with the children. Lovely dining room with a super breakfast. Rooms clean and welcoming would gladly stay again.

Hostess very nice, friendly and hospitable. Unfortunately the hotel has an odour (cabbage?) which is all-pervading. The bedroom was comfortable, as was the bed; problems included dirty carpets, bedside light not working, extractor fan in windowless shower-room not working, furniture tatty and wallpaper water-stained. The public areas of the hotel need redecoration; as the place was originally two houses it is a little confusing working out how to get around, with multiple stairs, landings and no signs for direction. Linen and towels clean, breakfast good and all staff very friendly. Parking at back of building adequate, but access was not explained at time of booking and there is no parking or waiting on the street at front. Charged £65 although websites say max £60.
