I visited the restaurant on saturdy and had a great night. The Staff were very friendly, the dinning room is wonderful and the food was superb. We will definatly go again and i will be recommending to friends. I Can see this place being a great night spot during the summer!!

Booked a toable for mothers day well in advance, was therefore suprised to be contacted, just a few days before to say that they had made a mistake with the booking and that we no longer had a table. The restaurant did not care that they had left me in the lurch with the almost impossible task for finding a table at short notice for mothers day. Have eaten here several times in the past but will NOT be going again

Four of us went to the much-criticised Church Restaurant for an evening meal last night, Friday 7th September 2007, after having been advised by various friends that it was over-expensive, poor value and uninspiring food, BUT we were pleasantly surprised to find that these criticisms were completely unfounded as we found the whole evening to be a most pleasant experience. From the initial welcome and the prompt and most efficient service throughout the evening together with the most pleasant ambience of the whole restaurant and the beautifully presented food, from a rather limited menu, to the settlement of the bill, we all really enjoyed our evening, though I should mention that the subdued lighting may have been romantic but did make it difficult to see what you were eating and the choice of background music varied in a bizarre fashion, but all in all we had a most enjoyable meal at a reasonable price
