Careful when booking with Olympia Cars... I booked a £70 trip from London to Reading and they revealed at the destination that there is a 25% additional fee for credit cards.
This is way above the 5 or 10% fee that taxi firms sometimes charge. Often there is no charge at all.
Most business travelers are going to use credit cards and this extortionate fee should have been pointed out up front.
I spoke to the controller and he said "Well you didn't ask so it's your own fault guvnor", in a snotty arrogant way. I told him how I felt this was underhand and should at least have been pointed out beforehand, and he actually said he thought it was okay to treat a customer this way. Unbelievable.
Very unsatisfied customer.
