Good Points: Hotel was very good value for money. Rooms were HUGE! Bad Points: When called to confirm booking day before stay, there was no record of the booking. Luckily there were 2 rooms free so we re-booked them at a lower price too. When we arrived, we checked in and the guy on check in desk didn't inform us of any check-out times, breakfast times etc so we presumed that breakfast was not included in the new booking. Once we went into our room, there was a suitcase, phone charger and dirty towels. We took all these items downstairs. In the other room we had booked, the door didn't lock. The following day when we came to check out, we were told the price was £40 and not £35 as we had been informed when we re-booked. The receptionist also had the original booking and stated in total, we had now booked 4 rooms. Once we had paid, I checked the receipt and noticed that we had paid for breakfast, but were not informed of the times therefore presumed we no longer had breakfast booked. Nice rooms for the money, but very confusing check-in/check-out.

Good Points: Very spacious room with good amount of furniture. Bad Points: Lack of privacy afforded by being open to some traffic at the back of the hotel. (room 100) General review: Need to relocate where the tea/coffee making facilities are currently kept in room 100. Because they are directly over a radiator, all the milk provided had turned sour.

Good Points: Very spacious rooms, loved the bistro and pub out the front. very close to transport and shops Bad Points: Our room had no hot water, we had to be moved to another. Then the VCR had been locked and remotes stolen in the second room, a replacement had to be found General Review: Overall I loved the place, will not hesitate to stay there again. Best value I could find in Bradford.

After searching for somewhere for myself and partner to stay for the night we came across the Sporting Lodge in Idle,Bradford. We arrived to be greeted by a friendly and happy lady who made us feel most welcome! The room was very large and spotlessly clean. Some of the furniture looked a little bit tired but the room overall i feel was excellent. Leaving in the morning I was again greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful. I will definately be coming back here in the near future and would recomend staying here.

Good Points: very near to the primary care centre which I was attending Bad Points: sound proofing between rooms General Review: The most useful thing was the easy to follow directions - a godsend in Bradford when it was getting dark.
