There were 18 friends and a dog camping in Presteigne for a birthday bash. We came across this pub after a little walk into the town. We were all made very welcome even though we were all in fancy dress, including the dog. The landlord was fantastic, he cooked us nuggets & chips and he did it all for free. He went out and bought a disposable camera, well I think he bought two, he must have thought the carnival started 3 weeks early. Everyone enjoyed this pub very much, I can recommend it for a great welcome.
