Can't comment on the food always go over to the robin hood for food. What I can say is that there is a nice laid back atmosphere when I go in there the beer is fine and the staff are really friendly. Would always recommend

We popped in for Sunday lunch and were told it would take 20 minutes - 1 hour and 30 minutes later we sat down to a meal of hard Yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes and parsnips that were dried and hard. There was an obligatory 'sorry' and were told 'at least you have it now'. It seemed pointless complaining about the insufficent vegetables that were served up separately. The beef was good though.
They seemed to be oblivious to our complaints.
We were starving when we arrived and even more so after such a long wait, which was made worse as we had a toddler and two other children with us. We'll never go there again and would advice anyone else to find somewhere else - no matter how hungry they are.
