plenty to see & do in the area, even took train up to london - rye to ashford, then ashford to waterloo east or charing cross. good site, although we've seen better caravans @ silver grading. also caravans quite tightly packed in. pity about the car parking - very difficult to negotiate the car park, so we ended up taking the car up to the caravan door the 2nd. week. didn't use the evening family entertainment, althiugh if you've any children over the age of 5 avoid at all costs the childrens's club evening entertainment. our children aged 10 & 7 were appalled at the standard - have seen & heard far far better children's entertainment. another thing to avoid is the take away meal service - unless you have all evening to wait for it and are not bothered about food quality - best bet is to drive to rye - 5mins. and get something there - the kettle of fish takeaway is excellent. co-op supermarket at campsite entrance is a boost, offering good products and reasonable prices.
