We stayed 2 nights in the Trafalgar Suite - what a lovely experience. Fiona and John only took over the Bull two weeks prior to our stay and what a difference they have made. I could have listened to Fiona all night. They came to our rescue at 10.00pm. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Don't be put off by the other review it was a long time ago. Please Fiona - keep the door open on the High Street it doesn't look very inviting when it is shut !!

What a terrible experience. We had booked a table for 12:30. We finally asked for a menu after sitting around for 20 mins to be told that "Sorry they are still being printed off." When it came the food sounded delicious but after waiting for ONE HOUR AND 40 MINS cold vegetables, boot leather like meat and freezing yorkshire puddings arrived. It was Mother's Day and packed but they must have known it was going to be a busy day. My mother, who we were "treating" had a miserable time!

Stayed for 1 night in the Trafalgar Suite. It was wonderful. Very Comfortable and the bed was to die for. The evening meal I would mark 7/10 and the only disappointing thing was the waitress had opened the wine before we got to the table, which we thought was a bit out of order, but other than that, no complaints. Bar was a bit smoky, but the dinning and lounge areas were smoke free so very comfortable before heading for the restaurant. Would recommend this hotel to any one wanting to stay in the Burford area. Well done
