We asked for a sea-view room only to find it was in the attic! Room very small, bathroom even smaller. Having a shower was an experience of trying to move round in a very small shower to catch the drips of water - not easy to do. Window catch had just about rusted through so not easy to open window. Heating came on at about 8.30 pm and went off before 10pm. Not on in Mornings so room very cold - so cold windows very wet with condensation. What can I say about the food - very very limited choice. Of 2 main courses it was salad. Not very ideal on a cold October day! Staff were hinting for tips/gratuities - the only one we could give was to be more customer friendly Will we visit this Hotel again - in a word - NO

We arrived at the hotel with a coach party, we were extremely disappointed to find our room was polluted by stale cigarette smoke, when we spoke to owner she said hotel was full and had nowhere else to put us,(although at time of booking we asked for a sea view,) the housemaid was asked to clean room again but really this didnt help at all, seemingly all requests for repairs fall on deaf ears, room was very basic with broken plastic on floor ( after it had been allegedly cleaned )the decor was dirty and scrape marks all over, ceiling was stained with smoke, windows were very dirty, toilet was a small converted cupboard with no room to wash unless you left the door open, nowhere to hang towels, or anything, you have to sit sideways on toilet!!! plaster was falling off behind toilet, cobwebs on ceiling, meals were very basic with packet soup a speciality, give 2/10 for comfort/meals but 10/10 for waitress service--
