The Elizabethan is a great little pub which has something to offer everyone. It has a quiz every Thursday and I believe it also has pool competitions on Sundays. There is a DJ on each Friday and Saturday and the pub is usually packed out both nights. It seems to be the place to go for a few drinks before heading into the town centre. Food is served each day and is excellent value - in fact everything is under £5! The drinks are also very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend the Elizabethan to others and will probably visit again very soon. Overall, I'd give it 8.5 out of 10.
