The pub area and restaurant with open fires make this a wonderful experience, the rooms are spacious and the beds really comfortable with beautiful crisp white sheets. A little dated in places and the TV reception poor, but the added touch of videos in the room make up for the lack of finesse. The food in the evening and at breakfast was of very good quality.Don't expect a rushed breakfast as it is a very relaxed affair, with an excellent choice. Try the speciality sausages for breakfast or dinner, myself and my two colleagues shared the taster sausage platter in the evening whilst waiting for our friend to arrive, which was delicious, and the choice of wines outstanding. All in all a great stay and for only £49.95 B & B, a bargain- we will be back !

Good Points: Excellent hotel very well appointed. Food and wine excellent. Bad Points: Service a little slow both at evening meal and breakfast. General review: A very pleasant experience

Really friendly hotel that offers good value for money. We were made to feel very welcome and the room was full of character and very comfortable.
