Contrary to some reviews I have read, I had a pleasent stay with a spacious room and good shower, which is rare! The staff are superb and deserve a 5 star rating. The recent refurbishment work downstairs is looking excellent and has really given the hotel a new dimension with its modern contemporary look and new restaurant menu(quality food!). I must say this hotel has all the credentials for somebody travelling on business like myself. Look forward to seeing you soon!

Good Points: Spacious and traditional in character Bad Points: Decor in a poor state (e.g. wallpaper coming off walls, fixings coming away from walls). Breakfast: toast was advertised on the menu, but th eonly bread available was a basket of very dry small rolls. Tea left in tepot for too long to get cold. General review: Enough space, comfortable bed and fairly quiet, but hotel has seen better days and now needs a thorough makeover.
