Our wedding was at the New House, and the mostly friendly staff made a raining day excellent. Rooms and service excellent. Unfortunately, the meal served at the breakfast was the wrong one (including bacon with the main course, which could not be eaten by some of our guests)and the chef seemed quite aloof at our complaints and assured us it was our error. In the end the hotel offered us compensation by way of another meal at the restaurant. Needless to say, we will not be taking this up.
