We found the Snooty Fox to be such a lovely and welcoming pub throughout our stay on our holiday in the Lake District.The meals were divine everytime we had one there,and the staff were so friendly to us each time we was their every night.They treated my daughter so lovely,and at the cottage we stayed at,i wrote in their book just how impressed we was with your pub.So that everytime others were to also stay there too,they would hopefully come and check you out,we will never,ever forget the nights we had at your pub.especially my birthday nights meal too.thanks so very much.Anne-Marie,Mark and Courteney Reid

I found the whole staff, including the manager, to be very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nicely refurbished. Though the doors do show some wear and the carpets need to be replaced. I would stay there again. I like the charm.
