I'm VERY surprised there aren't MANY MORE positive reviews about this GEM of a place. Food is perfectly cooked and beautifully presented...served by attentive, friendly staff. We dined in the conservatory...FANTASTIC...so were the ostrich steaks ( Scottish reared ) which we tried for the first time.

This is not my first visit to the lovely Hollybush Inn and it certainly won't be my last. It has everything you need for a great evening out with friends: excellent choice of menu with something for all tastes, including vegetarian, friendly bar and super waitresses. The beef medallions are to 'die for', cooked to perfection and finished with a light cream sauce, the salmon is always just right, and if you fancy traditional fish 'n chips I can heartily recommend their freshly battered haddock in crisp bubbly beer batter. Perfect with a nicely chilled glass of chardonnay. Oh dear, I'm feeling hungry! The Hollybush Inn also does a great lunch/early menu which is excellent value. I'm slowly working my way through it! I always like to sit in the conservatory so I can enjoy the views of Arran and the Carrick Hills with my meal. You never feel rushed and are always made to feel welcome. I just can't fault it!
