Very disappointed on this visit, had stayed in 1996 and found it fine. Our family suite was clean and comfortable but smelt very musty and damp our friends room was ok but on the small side for 3 of them. Was charged £8 on the outward journey for a family of 4 on the bus but on the return journey was charged £10. On returning to the Hotel 14 days later to pick up our car we were told by the very unhelpful receptionist that our car battery wwas flat and that she did not know what to do. We asked to see the manager who would hopfully explain why our battery was falt (this never happens to this car even after long periods left in the winter unused) unfortunately the manager never arrived and we did not get an explanation, our friends had to drive my Husband to a local garage to buy jump leads so that we could get home (we are in the AA but were not going to call them out for a simple job)the Hotel did not seem to have any - we managed to get the car going and happy to say is fine. It was also very dirty as was our friends car. We will not be staying here again I will either pay more money to stay in a nicer Hotel or travel very early to the Airport and get a specialist car parking firm to look after my car who we have used before and were very good.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, due to a Business trip. Although I did not expect the hotel to have lots of facilities, I was not impressed with the hotel room facilities/cleanliness. The carpet was filthy/well worn, there was dust and the kettle was dirty. As an avid "gym user", I did visit the gym once but I did not use any facilities as there was only about 3 machines which were "well-worn" and the room was freezing and dark... The hotel DOES NOT HAVE A POOL ! (well, if you get a bus 10 miles down the road, you may be able to have a swim).. and mind the "pot-hole" in the road before you enter the hotel... !! Not good if you have a small car.

Absolutly awful, shoddy rooms, poor service, the pool etc is in another hotel about 5 miles away, not on site as advertised, the acres of grounds are a giant car park. £95 a night, it would have been more comfortable to sleep in the car.
