Good Points: Very helpful pleasant staff. Comfortable warm room (Rm 37) Good breakfast. reasonable price and good value for money. Bad Points: Absence of bedside light (lighting only from ceiling so disturbing to my husband who wanted to sleep). Room 34 was cold until blower was put on and bathroom remained very cold. General review: A good expereience and we are likely to stay again.

Good Points: The size of the room and the bed was excellent. Bad Points: The only sight problem is congestion with car parking at times. General review: We had stayed at this hotel 30 years ago, but do not remember much about that stay so are unable to make comparisions. In addition I had lived in Lichfield for a number of years in the 1950's and 1960's so chose The George becasue it is right in the centre of the City and therefore readily accessible to all amenities. There is aalso a frequenbt train service into Birmingham soit is convenient for visiting there.
