Excellent welcome by friendly staff and owners. Menu comprehensive and well served in bar and restaurant. Notable venison and scallops. Real ales at correct temperature (not American frozen) All well kept with no hangers-on. Guest beers unusual for traveller from norfolk ( even Adnams Fisherman was recognised. Hope to be back over the Christmas period!! Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year. Lawrie and Marian. Glad not to be on call this year.
