Having made email contact with Elle about arranging a wedding reception for a date in 2010,I called in to collect a brochure pack that she said she was to put aside for me, together with answers to a few queries I had. To say that she and her colleagues were disintersted is an understatement, almost to the point of being rude. Nothing had been put aside for me and her response was "I am busy now I cannot look up to see what dates are free for you". I had travelled from Devon to collect this information and she knew it. Two other colleagues beside her totally ignored this situation and I left to find another venue elsewhere. If that is their level of attention to detail, then good luck to you if you plan to book the most important day of your life there and leave it in their hands. No apologies, no interest shown at all. Disgraceful.

Good Points: The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Bad Points: The bed in room 117 was extremely uncomfortable and the bedside lamps appeared to be very loose fittings. Also it was at the back of the hotel very close to the heating or air condition system which was quite noisy. General review: overall it was satisfactory. Perhaps it was the cost that determined the room and the condition. I would stay again but perhaps choose a slighly more expensive room to guarantee level of service.
