My son Andy and I came across this lovely pub after a desperate attempt to find some accommodation. We had travelled up from London. The owners Steve and Annie made us very welcome and we would have liked to have stayed longer. The food was absolutely great although I would advise those on a diet to order small portions! You will not go hungry in this Inn.We will definitely go back. It was our first visit to Yorkshire and the Inn is ideally situated for visits to Scarborough, Whitby and York.A lovely pub and lovely people,WELL DONE the Providence inn.
