i have been visiting ripon for over 20 years now and have always enjoyed going into the black bull over the last few years i have seen a change in the place but recently called back in to give it another chance and me and my wife were delighted to see it was under new management (someone who seems to care this time) its about time too!! he explained some ideas and changes that wete going to happen i.e. real ales and homemade food and it sounded great id just like to say good luck lee and the rest of your team i can see positive changes already! so if your ever in ripon pay a visit to the black bull in the market square for a good pub lunch and good atmosphere

I complained to the management about one of the gambling machines being faulty with a high/low button sticking and I lost £10 pounds. There was another machine that had been switched off for two days and the under manager said he would report the faults. When I arrived today he said "the machines fixed",but said ,when I MENTIONED my loss "can't do anything about it".I have been a regular customer there for 20 years, the place is not the same.
