Great staff, Good food and a lovely atmosphere, generally as pubs good the Wernely in Oldbury is excellent.
We were at our daughters Birthday meal and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Would recommend this pub to friends and family.
A BIG THANK YOU to the staff of the Wernely for making our evening fab.

Can't understand the criticism about this pub?
The beer is ALWAYS good, the guiness is as good as any I have had, the food is always hot and well cooked and i am looking forward to seeing what the refurb is like.
As for the staff - an excellent service - well done!

I think the service is poor, the staff, especially the one named matt are rude and abrupt, if you complain to them about the beer they look at you as if you've just landed from another planet. hopefully a change of management will sort pratts like matt out who does not know how lucky he is to have a job, plenty of people on the dole would love to take his place

i think that the Wernley is really good, the staff are very friendly and the meals are very well done and it isnt too expensive. i love going to the pub on a sunday.

I think the wernley is a verry godd pub, especialy the staff are VERRY freindlyy. they spek nicely and are always smilingg,
my mate likes matt alott (:
i think it would be good if they got together and Arron has a nicee arsee :D
We love the wernley becausee it welcomes a varietyy oof peeoplee into the Pubb (:

food was the burnt and got to be the worst ever had....one steak knife between the two of us...i had..12oz rib eye steak med to well ask for...the under side was like it had been set on fire...the wife had surf and turf....more like surf and burn...bad...no one asked about the meal....no to complain to .still had the burnt taste in my mouth for hours
