Just like to say thankyou for yesterday's roast Sunday lunch, which can be only be summed up as exceptional. I can say it is not only by far the best in Clent (we have eaten in almost every pub in the area), but also the surrounding area. The Bell at Pensax used to be the best (for Sunday roasts which is what we can speak for), until the sad loss of their chef, or cook as he liked to be known. The vegetables were 'real', cooked perfectly, and there was plenty of them. The roast potatoes being particularly good - all things you don't see in the 'Food Pub of the Year' or others. Two big gravy boats - brilliant! Where else do you ever see that? All of us commented on the starters which where full flavour. Goats cheese and mushrooms in garlic were the two we tried. The rose wine, which was pleasant, came chilled and in a cooler The service from all the staff could not be faulted. Polite and friendly to all our requests. And all done at 6pm which is a late time for a Sunday Very well done, and thanks again

Went for a meal with friends from Birmingham who wanted a traditional country pub. We were not disappointed! We had a lovely meal sat by the open fire. Would highly recommend the chicken ballontine and wild boar sausages. Chocolate brownies a must for pud as well as a new one to me- rhubard and ginger crumble. Really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning - maybe for sunday lunch sometime soon. a warm and friendly pub with a really good atmosphere - very welcoming

Party of 8 booked a table for lunch. Despite arriving early we were served a piping hot meal within 20 minutes of ordering. Service, food and drinks were excellent. Can thoroughly recommend the Vine.
