Good Points: Friendly reception and staff Well equipped room Excellent food and wine Bad Points: No lift and two flights of steep stairs; difficult for older guests. Parking difficult unless one is lucky. General review: A pleasant experience, the only real snag is having to climb two flights of stairs to the upper rooms

Room 3 very well appointed and decorated, but rear window opens onto the extractor from kitchen which provides both smells and noise in the room when in operation which is quite often, i.e morning and evening when resturant is in use. Even with the window closed the noise is intrusive. An attempt to mask this with a plug in perfume dispenser next to the bed only made things worse. The very nice looking LCD TV was OK until you wanted to watch it. The picture was totally unwatchable and colour all over the place. They were unable to provide a replacement.
