Visited after reading review and agree that the yorkshire puds are the biggest I have seen. The plate was piled high and struggled to get through the meal but it was fantastic. I also thought I would try out the quiz on the Tuesday night and although I had never won anything before in a quiz, our team won two rounds. It is the fairest quiz I have ever taken part in and although everyone had the right answers to the questions, you had to have the correct numbers as in bingo to win so everyone is in with an equal chance. Staff are friendly and efficient and the atmosphere in the pub is good. Definately go back again.

Tuesday nights are the big quiz nights with a bingo style quiz with 5 different rounds plus jackpot and "Play your cards right" game all with cash prizes. A smaller fun quiz on a Thursday night with music & general knowledge rounds, free entry, cash prizes. Friday nights see the barstaff don their bikinis instead of the usual red uniforms. Sunday lunches with the most monsterous yorkshire puddings and all the trimmings are served 12-3 for only £4.95. Make sure you get in early as they sell out pretty quickly. Big screen live sports - setanta & sky. Also 2 additional screens so multiple channels can be viewed. There's a halloween fancy dress party this coming saturday with prizes for the best dressed.
