What a great pub, the service is greagt you get a bit of singing included. It seems like it is the whole family that are connected to the pub. What can I say about the food. Me and my partner had from the specials menu sea bass with a lighly curried sauce and an amazing onion bajai, I had the fish pie off the menu it was amazing. I could see all the meals were actually home made. We saw the chiken pie and steak and kidney pudding come out to another table it looked absolutgely amazing and definately for the hungry. I will definately be coming back and would recommend this pub for the food to everyone if you like good home made food and also a large range of different type fish courses. It is a great credit to all of them

What can I say fantastic food. The chefs and staff have apparently moved from the Chequers at Slaugham. If you enjoy fish come here. I had the seafoood platter which is amaxing with fresh half lobster, smoked salmon, prawns. My friend had the steak and kidney pudding. When they say it is for the hungry they mean it. It was filled with loads of lean meat and kidney and the suet was amazing. The best steak pudding my friend has ever eaten. The service was great they are so friendly there and make you feel welcome. I would definately recommend visiting this pub it has a lovely setting with a cricket ground in front of it. We will definately return again
