Stayed at this hotel as this was the wedding venue for a wedding I was bridesmaid for. We stayed the night before the wedding in a triple room as there were three bridesmaids (we were told on the phone that this wasn't a problem and they could accommodate us all in one room. The room consisted of two small single beds and one cot bed (if you can call it that) where even the smallest of adults would not have been able to stretch out full length and was incredibly uncomfortable. The room was very dated and the shower did not work properly in the bathroom. Breakfast was ordered to the room for 7.30am the next morning to ensure we were ready for make-up lady and hairdresser. At 8am we went down to see where our breakfast was to be told it was on its way. 8.15am breakfast arrived (45mins late) just as the hairdresser was arriving!!! There were many things during the day of the wedding that we had to complain about. At the end of the night a few guests decided to stay for drinks at the bar. The bar man seemed aggrieved that he actually had to work during his shift and made it quite obvious that he would rather be in the room next door were the other staff were relaxing and having a laugh. At one point he actually told us he wasn't paid to work during the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many guests stayed the night of the wedding and not one person I spoke to didn't have something to complain about ... luggage put into wrong rooms, broken showers, broken taps, cracked sinks, dated rooms, poor customer service, mould in the apple juice at breakfast!!!!!! Need i say anymore .... certainly not the prestigious hotel it claims to be and certainly not worth the money.

On the occasion of my daughters' wedding, the hotel was beautifully prepared, and the staff very helpful and attentive which helped enormously in making this such a very special day. We were also very fortunate in having a fine sunny day which served to complement everything. Well done all of you I'm very grateful. Colin Shrimpton
