We attended the Peacock Inn for a Works Christmas Party on 20th December 2008.
The bar was disorganised (could have been our fault)?
However the service and quality of food in my opinion was diplorable, of ten on our table 2 had turkey, 4 had beef and 4 had salmon.
The Turkey was served first and after waiting for the other meals these dinners were started and finished before the beef was served, again these were finished before the Salmon was served. This appeared to happen on all the tables.
The same happened with the deserts.
The quality of the food was certainly not what we expected (very poor) and no-one was of the opinion any was fresh.
After reading a review before we went, I cannot believe the review i read was for the same establishment.
