I am not a food critic but i know what i like. And the Thyme at the Tavern delivered an excellent evening out. The place has been completely refurbished by the new owners and they have done a brilliant job. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff very friendly, the food was superb and the prices very reasonable (about £4.50 for a starter and £8.50 for a main). In addition we were told that the Organic Chilean Chardonnay would not give us a hang over and l am pleased to say that it hasn't! Definitely a great place to visit.
