I lived in exning in the late 60's at ST MARTINS CLOSE...My mother was a member of the dart team back then..The dart team then would wear a swan pin .i often wonder if my old friends are still about...the appleyards,macgloclins.ricks....glad to see the pub is still going strong..thx

Popped in on the way to Stansted.
The new(ish) owners of the pub are really friendly.
Beer and food was excellent. Sky Sports is available as well. Can't be bad!!
Well worth a visit.

This pub has all the charm and good beer that anyone could ever wish for. I love the people and the pool tables and the play area in the garden. My children used to play there and remember it so well. I wish I could walk into the pub right now and sit at the big wooden bar and talk to everyone as if I had never left to come back to America. I miss and love you all! I wish the pub the best of luck and to you all as well!!!!!!! Thanks for being the best!
