Really good home cooked food. Hosts Ray and Pam are very welcoming and generate a good atmosphere. The pub is slowly being restored to its former glory with open fireplaces, exposed bricks and beams. Will be going again very soon.

i had heard from a friend about this pub or inn about the food and service and it was just as they said i have payed a lot more for a meal but this was great when i came i though is that it i had ham two eggs peas and chips the chips where lovely plus the land lady said if you would like more just say so the only thing which will push your bill up is the drinks but there again it not weatherspoons at 99p a pint i will go back as its good value me green
