1.) Entertainment was great - They are a live music venue and have regular bands come from all over the UK to play here. The atmosphere is electric on these nights and in the rest of the week they just play modern background music. Entertainment 8/10 2.) The staff were brilliant - during our first visits we were really looked after in the bar, a barman called Nick is very helpful and charming and when he wasn't on, the owner and his wife were. They were very accomodating. Very well trained. Staff 10/10 3.) The bar is currently undergoing a refurb which going by what is completed will look very, very nice. Big TV's all round to watch sport, trendy decoration, modern lighting and barpeople who can juggle - what more can you ask for? When its finished 10/10 but currently 8/10 4.) Prices are average compared to other pubs and clubs in the area - if anything - slightly cheaper. I was drinking wine and my boyfriend was drinking lager and a round was less than a fiver. Price 9/10 5.) Selection at the bar is good - much to choose from, spirits, beers, shots or if you're feeling brave ask Nick the barman for a cocktail. Everything you could ask for from a bar drinks-wise 10/10. 6.) Cleanliness was second to none - by far the cleanest pub i have ever been in. Its also worth noting that the toilets are more like the toilets in the Ritz than your standard pub toilets. Bar staff were constantly cleaning. 10/10 We have not stayed in the motel so i really cant comment on it but we have recently moved to the area and the Uxbridge Arms is now our favorite place to visit always a good night. I understand that the motel is currently being refurbished - if it ends up anything like the bar then there is nothing to worry about. Customer service 10/10. Any problems will be quickly dealt with In general this pub gets a 9.5/10. Fantastic.
