Sorry the last reviewer had such a bad time. We took the pub over on 27th April 2009 and opened 29th May 2009. Restored this beautiful pub to its former glory and wish all visitors a happy return with good food and a friendly welcome!

I have been visiting this pub for the past 10 years, and I once found it to be a fantastic place to go for food and for the atmosphere. Recently it has been run by someone who just doesn't have the same management qualities. The food has gone from being fantastic to quite frankly tasteless.No thought has gone into the presentation. . It is a real shame the pub has gone downhill.
