Have visited on many occasions and always been made welcome by all the fantastic staff there. Breakfast a lovely experience as are the grounds. Unfortunately this was the 1st time I had a room upstairs rather dated.I could put up with however the bed was another thing, what was ment to have been a double bed was two different types of matresseses both of different depth and firmness attached together. Every time I turned over from one to another it felt like I was falling off. Woke up throughout the night, by 2pm felt like phoning reception to complain. Avoid room 27 at all costs.

An excellent event with a really relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Free entry was a brilliant idea - folk could just turn up to see what it was all about without committing themselves to high entrance costs. Great to see specialist outlets for serious kites and accessories
