I visited the new and improved Silks Hotels, Thw White Hors eon its opening day today and it is amazing - refurbishment and luxury with afoordable menus and stylish design. Everyone must go and visit and I have relatives who visit Hampshire and I will be making the most of the White Horse.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the White Horse. The ambience was excellent, the food wonderful and the staff superb. The only reason we have not been back recently is because it was closed for refurbishment. We are anxious to know what it is like now. Romsey is a lovely town to stay in. I hope in refurbishing they havent changed the character too much

Rubish Rubish Rubish, ruined my wedding anniversary. Managed to 'lose' our booking initially, we managed to get another booking but with hindsight I wish they had been full. We booked a double room specifically but were given a twin. When we complained the 'manager' was rude unapologetic, extremely unhelpful and his best offer was to wake someone else up and kick them out of their room at 11pm. His scruffy appearance was more dingy nightclub owner than hotel manager and this was reflected in his attitude. We left it when he became aggressive and reduced my wife to tears. All in all avoid it - its just not worth it.
