I stayed here with my boyfriend at Easter this year. We did not stay in the hotel itself, but in the Annex across the road. The hotel is gorgeous and very quanit! We had a fantastic breakfast, and dinner is worth booking. I can highly recommend the mussels! The hotel staff are friendly and cannot do enough for you. There is a little pub which adjoins the hotel, which is great, especially after the long trek up the hill! Clovelly itself is a beautiful little village, still a fishing village and full of tearooms serving scones and clotted cream! Walking up and down the hill can really take it ut of you, but it's well worth it. A lovely hotel in a lovely part of the UK
