Why is it that everytime I visit I have cause to complain? As someone who prefers a premium beer, the only thing offered was Pedigree. The beer was served obviously cloudy (not the first time I have had cause to complain about cloudy or short pints there) The only vaguely acceptable alternative was Mansfield Smooth (at the same price??????). I have been told in the past to watch someone buy a pint first, as the Licencee does not pull off any beer.
I was attracted by the £2.99 Fish and Chip meal. Don't bother! The deep fried piece of fish would have been overpriced at half the cost.
Would I recommend this pub? No chance. I won't be back in a hurry.
