Good Points: Hotel relatively clean staff polite although not very friendly. Breakfast good quality although expensive. Bad Points: The room was very very small - hardly any natural light room looked onto small outside corridor. Shower power was so slow and feeble that you could not get washed properly. The ensuite toilet was left with the seat not fitting properly and a large piece of metal or overflow not sure which sticking out alongside the toilet seat. The remote control did not work in the room. General review: Would not recommend anyone to stay other than as a one nighter as room quality so poor.

Good Points: Very clean, friendly staff.Food was very good (Breakfast was all we had). Bad Points: It was like a rabbit warren.Corridors everywhere.Would help with better signs. General Review: Very nice hotel. In good location. The staff were very friendly. We only had the breakfasts as we were visiting relatives and we found the food to be very good.(Buffet style as much or as little hot or cold food as you could eat!!)All of the hotel we saw was spotless.Would highly recommend to everyone.

Quiet surroundings. Good shower. Breakfast was terrible. A hot buffet with everything overcooked and barely edible. The baked beans looked a week old. Easy access from A1. Good parking.Comfortable bed but wouldn't have been big enough with 2 people in it. Dinner was adequate but no more.

Ideal for our purposes A nice garden area where we could have eaten our meal Excellent for our purpose of an overnight vstay on our way to our final destination. Staff very pleasant and eager to help even tho' the hotel was very busy with a number of parties.

The room was fantastic - because I booked late due to my business arrangements changing at the last minute, I got a room with a four-poster bed and jacuzzi for £65 per night. All the facilities I saw were fine, but was disappointed with the speciality night in the restaurant - see below. My only gripe with my stay was that I believe the hotel/online booking site should warn guests beforehand if there is a 'curry night' or similar - after a long drive I was looking forward to a nice meal in the restaurant, but was told it was all curry. I did't want curry, so I had to settle for a bar meal. The meal was fine, but not what I wanted. Also, I had the misfortune to arrive on a quiz night, and the bar was heaving - not exactly what I had in mind for a quiet, decent restaurant meal before bedtime. Had I known beforehand I could have made other arrangements for dinner. Most of the guests in the bar were men, and as a lone female business traveller I felt a little vulnerable. The staff were excellent though - very friendly and helpful, and made me feel a little more secure. Overall though, fantastic room for minimal money, and I love the location - other than the bad timing with the restaurant, this was perfect for my requirements, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Family with older children,It was convenient with good liesure facilities the food very good and rooms comfortable,The bathroom was small and a bit unkept,\"The hotel was in most ways what we were looking for. Most of the staff were excellent and very helpful. This did not apply to the Reception area where customer service was not at all obvious. I would like to have known that the resturant was not available to us on the Saturday night as we had planned to have a nice family meal in.I would probably booked a superior room had I have known the differences between the room types but I would go back.
