My first visit.Iwas there to support a young mother of three who, together with the landlord were raising money for the young Asian mother's son's fight against cancer. Any publican who can do this gets my support. Not keen on the pub, but,it isn't in the best part of town.A bit 1950's

Ive been to this pub twice since moving to Lough borough recently and found the woman behinf the bar to be a complete misery. I went in wearing shorts and flip flops and the attitude from the bar woman and customers was awful - probably because they thought i was a student which i am not. Awful awful pub

I have been keeping a close eye on the jack o lantern since the landlord and landlady have had to leave,i am sad to say that it has gone down hill rapidly and the old unwanted customers are back which stops the nice customers coming in which i feel again is really sad because all the hard work the team put into making it a fantastic place with fantastic food.if any one from the brewery reads this then i hope you realise what you have lost because apparantly you just didnt listern.

This Pub has recently changed hands and is fantastic once again. The New Landlord and Landlady are great, Sundsy lunch is mega, proper food like yer mum does and all fresh. I go in now on a regular basis and really like it, its not like town where you are always looking over yer shoulder!
